    Of course it is. Letting your guard down again after getting hurt in the past is always hard. And it is very scary. You just have to remember that just because you had a bad experience, or because it didn't work out in the past, doesn't mean you have to stop trusting people. Just be careful about who you trust. Either way, whether it works out or not, it's still an experience you had and it can be rewarding in its own right. You always learn something from it, and it makes you a better person. Not to mention, it gets easier with time.

    Perfectly okay. You are going into new territory with a new person. You got to get used to it and get over the previous relationship.
