Sliver Vs Wither Magic the Gathering?
Today I played a game of Magic the Gathering against my friend, i play a Black Wither deck and he was testing his new Sliver deck out after awhile he played a Ward Sliver which gives all of his slivers Protection from the color of his choice he of course chose Black and i sat back not able to do anything really but to let him check out his deck we kept playing eventually he got out a sliver that gave all of his slivers +2/+0 counters on them it was a long time before i realized that i had a Kulrath Knight out on the filed while Kulrath Knight is on the filed Creatures your Opponents control with counters on them cant attack or block, so my question is even though his slivers had protection from black dose this card still effect them thanks

There are two answers to your question, first i'll explain protection.
Protection from x means "this object can't be:"
enchanted,
equipped,
targeted, or
dealt damage by
x.
So in this case, his slivers are not being targeted be kulrath knight and they won't be able to attack.
The problem is, I can't find a sliver that "gives all slivers +2/+0 counters. Bonesplitter Sliver gives all of his slivers +2/+0, but thats not in the form of counters, so it doesn't... count.
I hope I helped.
