well 10 and 20 gallons makes a bigger difference.. you can find a 20 tall for climbers.. or a 20 long for swimmers.. your safest bet is a leopard gecko.. their VERY easy to maintain as long as you do things properly.

they dont need bulb heat. what the need is an undertank heater.. or UTH (that acronym gets used alot more) because they dont climb like crested geckos

you need a cold and warm hide (2 coconut houses will work.. or if you want to make one yourself www.lizard-landscapes.com they show you how to make them out of foam. you can paint or put fabric on your design because there is no light on it. thats just one choice.

crested geckos are climbers so you may want to go with that. branches and leaves will make the tank look cool.. they require a heat lamp due to their climbing

you can always go with fish aswell. i have fish and a turtle.. i started him in a 20g tank.. and that lasted the turtle about 4 months.. so steer away from them.

a leopard of some sort would suit you best. or if you get a 20 long tank a ball python can stay there at full growth.. and smaller snakes.

(my good friend owns a reptile/fish store so if you need any more information feel free to msg me)

Cornsnakes or kingsnakes will easily live in a 20 gl. for life. Shredded aspen for bedding, an under tank heater and thermostat, something for it to hide in on the warm and cool side and a water bowl. Secure lid as well of course. There are thousands of caresheets out there on cornsnakes including one on my website. You should be able to find out all you need to know there or on www.cornsnakes.com
