Are monkeys, apes and primates "clean" animals?

Would the various types of primates been considered clean or unclean for purposes of taking them on the Ark? My foggy recollection is that they should be considered unclean...

Note: This particular question is not about the validity of the Flood, but it will lead (perhaps) to a reasonable test.

Update:

Sorry to the first two answerers, you missed the point of the question.

There's no such thing as clean and unclean animals.

And that whole Noah's Ark dealie never happened - science, history and logic can demonstrate that.

Fine then - they're clean animals. Humans are in the monkey, ape and primate clade so I hope we would be "clean."

unclean animals are ones that eat the waste products of other animals. In this context apes are considered clean animals.
