What "wisdom" in the Bible can be solely attributed to God?
Read the Bible and then read every other religion's text or any philosophical writing, and tell me what wise saying is unique to the Bible and could only have come from divine inspiration.
A really well thought out and supported answer may cause me to reconsider being an atheist, so choose your responses very carefully.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 months agoIs it foolish to worship God to foreign music?
This question was asked but the asker has blocked others, so I offer it up to everyone.
I would ask what is "foreign music" is and why given that there people that worship God around the world why would any music be considered "foreign"?
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 months agoWhat will be your reaction if you first time hear verses of Quran? It is tested you will cry? This is only miracle left in legacy of Abraham?
I was blocked by the original asker of this question because they can rarely form a coherent question based on the wide variety of scientific principle they completely misunderstood.
I do belief in freedom of speech and offer this in an unblocked form. I will note that the only reading of the Qu'ran that I have done has reduced me to tears because of it's contradictions and ignorant simplicity. Have at it, be free.
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 months agoMorals question about ebooks?
Years ago I bought a book series and now I want to re-read them, however I can only locate the first book. I tried to find the kindle version, but they only exist in German. In your opinion, is it wrong to download the ebooks from a free source?

5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 year agoCan anyone give a testable definition of a soul?
Think carefully, it needs to fit only what the soul is and not what we know to be something else.
For example, a definition of life could be: "eats, breathes and replicates", but that definition also includes fire, crystals and potentially other chemical reactions.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoAppeal process?
I recently submitted an appeal and showed that it did not come close to violating the community guidelines and yet the appeal was rejected on "Terms of Service". I completely clueless how it could have possibly violated the TOS. Is the appeal process just a sham?
7 AnswersYahoo Answers3 years agoDoes anyone else feel that "sample ballots" are insulting?
I've never liked the sample ballots (both parties) that people try to hand out. Seriously, it's not that hard to tell what party a candidate is and I don't need someone else to tell me how to vote.
Are these "ballots" actually useful, or are they just insulting?
2 AnswersElections5 years agoFrom the book of Proverbs, what proverb is divinely inspired?
Read Proverbs, understand what it says in historical/cultural context and then select one or more proverbs that demonstrate wisdom that could only come from divine inspiration.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoIf God/Allah was real?
Why would believers have to force "nonbelievers" to follow its commands?
From a Christian perspective, it doesn't matter if a "non-believer" follows one, two or all of God's commandments or "sins", they are still going to hell. In other words forcing your "morality" on others does not help them in any way.
I'm not as familiar with Islam, but what good is it if someone does not believe in Allah but has to follow Allah's rules?
A side question, if your god is real, why do humans need to enforce your god's rules? Isn't your god powerful enough to do this, or are you worried that your god won't actually judge people the way you want it to?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFurther evidence that the Flood did not happen?
If primates like chimps are "unclean" then only one pair of them would have been taken on the Ark while there were 4 human couples. This means that we should find that the chimp's genetic diversity should be far more homogeneous than humans. It also means that "clean" animals should should be genetically more diverse than "unclean" animals.
We know this is not the case for humans and chimps. What does this say about the Flood myth?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoAre monkeys, apes and primates "clean" animals?
Would the various types of primates been considered clean or unclean for purposes of taking them on the Ark? My foggy recollection is that they should be considered unclean...
Note: This particular question is not about the validity of the Flood, but it will lead (perhaps) to a reasonable test.
