Miami Hotels and transfers to Port of Miami?

We are flying into Miami Airport and picking up a cruise ship from the Port of Miami the following day. We need a hotel for one night when we arrive and ideally, I'd like to stay somewhere that also offers transfer to the Port - does anyone know of any hotels that do this?

If not, I presume we will be able to pick up some kind of shuttle from the airport so can you recommend a hotel close to Miami Airport to stay in for one night?

Thanks :)

You can go to hotels.com & click on Miami, & then airport area, for a list of hotels near the airport. A number have airport shuttles. but none, to my knowledge have Port of Miami transport. You might want to take a cab or Airport Shuttle to one of the downtown hotels near the port, some of which have port shuttles, but all of which are a very short cab ride from the port.

    MIA to Downtown hotels:

Shuttle is $14.00 a person . No reservation needed. Pickup outside arrivals. Look for dispatcher under the blue & yellow "Supershuttle" sign. Cab is approx $22 per cab + tip. See dispatcher at the taxi rank outside arrivals. For two or more together the cab is a better deal.

I was surfing for the exact same thing that you asked. I found a Days Inn that says it provides both an airport shuttle and port of miami shuttle. Says its 5 min from airport and 15 min from Port. It may not be a swanky hotel but looks like it suits our needs. To find it I did google search: Port of miami hotels with airport shuttle. Happy cruising

Miami is certainly one of the most used vacation locations and with hotelbye you will find out more. Miami has anything for everybody; from the modern nightlife of South Beach, bejeweled by the eye candy of the Art Deco region up to the bustle of Calle Ocho and the extremely caffeinated power of Little Havana. The Art Deco District provides right back memories of a youthful time in Florida with its perfectly repaired 1930s Art Deco structures and is a place effectively visited just like Bayside Marketplace. This place is just a big outside style mall with an increase of than 150 specialty and tourist stores, numerous bars and restaurants, and day-to-day live entertainment.

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

How did you book the cruise? Travel agents and cruise lines themselves offer special rates at hotels for passengers, as well as transfers to and from the ship. I think this is the way to go. The cruise lines have this down to a science.
