Floyd Mayweather v. Bernard Hopkins (circa 1999)?

Take the 147-154 Mayweather, could he have gone up to 160 and taken on the prime Bernard Hopkins?

I was thinking about some of the great guys who started at 130-135, and the only one that I could think of (in recent years) who was able to go way up and be successful was Roberto Duran.

Thoughts on either?

Bernard Hopkins reach would be too much for Mayweather to handle.

You also had Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hitman Hearns as well as the hands of stone (Duran). That would have been a dog fight, but Bernard would most likely have won probably by a knockout or TKO.

    Bernard Hopkins would win.

I think that Hopkins would win by KO within 6 rounds.
