No. It tastes much better than cow's milk (also doesn't leave you with that gross aftertaste, and is a hell of a lot healthier). Also, there are many varieties, and different brands will taste different too, so if you try one & you don't really like it, try another brand before giving up. :) I prefer the refrigerated type rather than the shelved type. The most popular brand is probably Silk. You can get plain unsweetened which tastes the closest to cow's milk in my opinion (I find it kind of gross unless I'm cooking with it), plain sweetened (which is my favorite for everyday use), vanilla, chocolate, etc. You could also try almond, oat, or hemp milk if you don't find a soy milk you love. There's also rice milk, but personally I hate the taste of it. You might like it though, as many people do. :)

No it does not taste like cow milk at all. But it is a hell of a lot healthier for you. Not that soy milk tastes bad... it just tastes different. I think it's delicious. Remember that soy milk is made out of beans. Cow milk comes from some dirty animals ****. Of course it won't taste the same. Try this test... replace your regular milk with soy milk for a whole week (7 whole days). On the first day it will taste funny and you may prefer cow milk. But by the 7th day you will really like it and the switch will be a lot easier.

no it does not. My brother was on a strict diet from his doctor and all he could drink was soy milk it is extremely good for you so don't be put off and to be honest I found I got used to the taste and didn't really mind so much so I was just getting loads of vitamins for an okay taste I don't think if you were just looking for a Great taste to go for this but I highly suggest you push that aside and try it.

nope...it's sometimes an acquired taste..depending on who's consuming it i guess...
i'm a huge fan of soy milk..but i've had 2 different tastes...
i.e. you can buy the "Silk" brand in most supermarkets..and it is very "silky" in texture...
but i actually prefer the soy milk that i purchase each time i head out to NYC (Chinatown) to be more exact...and that flavor of soy milk they sell in their grocery stores tastes completely different than the previously mentioned brand...
and this whole story probably didn't answer your ques..so i appreciate your patience...happy drinking....;)

Sort of, but it usually tastes a bit more like vanilla. It is thinner and doesn't have the creamy feeling, but I love to cook with it, but prefer whole milk for straight drinking.

Not exactly. If you drink it alone you could probably tell the difference. But I think it's nicer though I'm not vegan or have allergies. I like Alpro Soya milk more than regular milk.

I think the kind they sell refrigerated tastes better then the kind on the shelf. I prefer the vanilla flavor over the plain.
