What can happen if you get poop and pee in your eye?
ok so my dog pissed and pooped in her cage and when i went to let her out a piece got flung and hit me in the eye, i immediately ran to the bathroom and wash my hand(because it got on the too) and the put some cold water on the eye, i don't think that worked because my eye is a lil sore now and its getting a lil pinkish
what should i do/ look out for? can my eye become infected bc of the poop?

Well, feces is waste matter excreted by the body and will contain tons of harmful bacteria and organisms.
You did the correct thing by immediately flushing with water. Room temperature or distilled water might have been easier to tolerate on the eye or saline solution might have been even better.
The irritation you described could possibly be from a combination of the feces and cold tap water, so you will have to give it some time to see if it improves. If this irritation continues or further irritation occurs then you must see a doctor.
You can immediately try some lubricating eye drops or artificial tears to alleviate the discomfort.
