GLBT Clubs in Schools?
I have been out of school since 2004 and came out of the closet the week before I left. Now I sent the School Board a letter about adding a GLBT Club in the schools and they declined and said it was not worth being in the schools. What would be another way to get the school board to approve having the Clubs in the school here in my county? who would I contact?

I think you're better off trying to get a GSA (Gay/Straight Alliance) group started. There are over 4000 of those in schools today. They have been shown to reduce bullying in the schools.
But why are you working on this? The current students usually start these up.

I don't know how it is in other countries, but here in the US, the students have to be the one to ask for a GLBT club. Although it's not exactly what you're looking for, this website has some good information. I hope this helps you.
Good luck.
