What is a graphics card that I can use for a Dell Inspiron 531s (s meaning slim)?
I cannot find a card that has great gaming graphics and fits my computer. Im not sure if the Nvidia GTX's will fit though they look small enough and I have a PCI port for a graphics card. Hopefully DVI cable compatible, but I do have VGA.

I wasn't going to answer your question because it just looks impossible to me. And I don't know that much about those dells except there not much bigger than a calculator. But I do know this, the gtx is a big card. I have the gtx 285 and it is over 10 inches long and as wide as your case. Not only that but the power connectors come out the side so it makes it even wider. And they need more power than you have, and two 6 pin connectors, and a pci e slot. This is what you can try, go to newegg or tiger direct and look at video cards and narrow your search to pci cards and see what they have. I would be surprised though if you could find something. But I don't know everything, just trying to help.

Source(s): After I answered your question I went to tiger direct and they do have a bunch of pci cards that are pretty small, but after some investigation I found that you will need a low profile bracket and the card is not going to be much better than what you have. You know, those slim dells just are not made for upgrade. I hope this was helpful to you even though its not what you wanted to hear.
