No, I don't think so. When you slow it down it appears something may be in contact with the ball, though at normal speed, you can't call it a try and Mr Simpkons will have questions to answer. I think it really took any small chance Brisbane had away, though Melbourne were far too good last night and it didn't affect the result. Ultimately though it has raised questions about the refereeing in the grand final. I hope no one is robbed a premiership.

those are some very huge names, as you suggested. Geelong nonetheless produce different talanted blokes interior the team - Joel Corey, Jimmy Bartel, Cameron Mooney, Paul Chapman etc. To win at present against a fired up Brisbane, Geelong will desire those gamers to step up thousands. it is an danger for the cats to furnish different blokes a wager back into the team, and for them to show what they have have been given. If the cats dont step up, that's going to likely be the 1st time because around 2 and 3 - 2007, the place they loose consecutive fits in a row. a stable and effectual team, must have the ability to taking abode a win - even with out superstars. If the cats dont do this, they do no longer look to be as stable as all of us think of.

It was a square up by the video referee for Slater being denied what was clearly a try so the Broncos should have been down 16 - 0 no matter what way you look at it.

On its own, it should have never been awarded a try but the video referees have bastardized the whole process to the point that just about anything is a try these days. Lets hope a decision like that doesn't decide a GF.

No it shouldnt have been given & one of the worst calls this year but Bronco fans cant feel hard done by. It made up for Billy Slater's try the refs were oblivious to. The results would have been exactly the same if both incidents were rightfully looked at. Slater got wrongly denied- Johnson got wrongly granted. Storm beat them up in every which way- it would not have changed the outcome.

Edit: David L- if the refs didnt miss Slaters try it would have been a 22-0 lead so I wouldnt be complaining mate. Broncos were never a chance with Carroll at 5/8 lol They did well to get that far but accept it- Broncos got smashed.

No. can't believe that was given, embarrassing...... Slater was short of the line but then pushed fwd...meaning.double movement.

Don't get me wrong Broncos didn't deserve to win BUT....

no penalties till Carroll tackled without the ball in second half & what was with the decision to call Carroll offside in the first half from a bomb that Slater clearly knocked on.

Play the ball area was a joke as well very inconsistent

No and since l am a broncos supporter l think that try gave melbourne some momentum to finish the game otherwise the broncos could've got back into the normal routine and use Jharel Yow Yeh and l also think Darren Lockyer should've played fullback and alex glenn at halfback with Kamichael at five-eighth

no-one knows if johnsons fingers were touching the ball. u would have needed a camera angle that was in line with the ball and hand which would've shown seperation or not.

Everyone has opinions and mine was not try but he could have well had a fingernail on the ball.

No, just goes to show that even with all the debacle of Video refs and 2 refs on the field thay still get it wrong sometimes. That idiot touch judge didn't even flinch when Billy Slater put the ball down on the line. They are only human I guess!

No. But, on the other hand, Billy Slater should have gotten a try about 2 minutes earlier, so I guess it is the universe levelling itself out.

Maybe not but things were evened up with the try Bill was not allowed.AND it saves Dallas having-to do a Nude run.

    GO STORM
