to find out how much each chicken weights, first set up what you know
a+b=6.1
a+c=8.5
b+c=10.6
to find the weight of chicken "a" you write
((a+b)+(a+c))-(b+c))/2=
then you replace with
((6.1)+(8.5))-(10.6))/2=2
and there you go all you have to do now is simple subtracting
2 + b = 6.1 which mean that b is 6.1 minus 2 which is 4.1
4.1 + c = 10.6 which mean that c is 10.6 minus 4.1 which is 6.5
so
a = 2
b= 4.1
c= 6.5

Sum of left side=2A +2B +2C
Sum of right side=25.2
2A+2B+2C =2(A+B+C) =25.2
A+B+C=12.6
12.6-6.1=6.5 chicken C
12.6-10.6=2 chicken A
12.6 -8.5 =4.1 chicken B

A = 2
B = 4.1
C = 6.5
---------------------------
A + B = 6.1
B + C = 10.6
A + C = 8.5
A = 6.1 - B
A = 8.5 - C
â´ 6.1 - B = 8.5 - C
B = 10.6 - C â´ 6.1 - (10.6 - C) = 8.5 - C
6.1 - 10.6 + C = 8.5 - C
-4.5 + C = 8.5 - C
2C = 13
C = 6.5
B = 10.6 - C = 10.6 - 6.5 = 4.1
A = 8.5 - C = 8.5 - 6.5 = 2
â´ A = 2, B = 10.6, and C = 6.5
