Anyone have a beaglier, how badly do they shed?

This is a cross between a Beagle and a Cavalier...right?

Cavaliers shed like crazy. I have two of them.

I'm sure a Beagle owner will chime in and tell us about Beagle shedding.

If I were to have a cross bred dog it would not be of this cross. With the Beagles interest in escaping and the Cavalier with no road sense I see it as a recipe for disaster. I hope you have escape proof fencing and never let the dog off lead outside your premises.

I wish the back yard breeders and puppy mills would stop crossing beautiful breeds such as these. I fail to see what could be gained over having a pure bred of either breed.

I know, dogs shed, but clearly some to shed worse than others. I am just hoping someone who has actually had one could tell me if they are just mild shedders, or what they would call severe. Thank you!

A Cavalier King Charles x Beagle is nothing but a poorly bred mix breed dog. (and they will shed a LOT)

Well, Cavaliers shed a lot & many short haired breeds shed a LOT more. So combining those two breeds together, you get one HUGE shedding machine!

I have no idea what kind of a Designer Name for a mutt that is...but since that is not real breed, there is no way to tell how much or how little it will shed. All mutts are different.

This depends on how it looks in you. For me, as long since it's not past your shoulders after that it would be ok but I actually prefer anything that doesn't go earlier the ears.
