i have had an iphone for over a year now and the internet even when it is not on 3g is actually ok. the only time i do not get good reception is at work but I work in a hospital so most of the walls are led lined
in regards to it getting slower i have not noticed it get slower at all
i enjoy that i can have it when i need to google anything look at apps when i want or when i am bored- read books with my apps- now that there is MMS messaging it is even better. i can go on facebook myspace and everything else on it which is helpful when i am not on my home pc
