Do Dogs giggle?? Do Dogs giggle?

YES!!! They have just as much fun in their life as humans do. They can laugh, talk, and even cry. Emotions are not only for humans. We just think we are so superior that we are the only ones that feel things. When your dog does something they know is on the edge of being in trouble and they have their mouth open and looking like "come get me" - they are actually waiting for you to get after them in a playful manor. This is fun to them and they are testing you out. I have one dog, I swear she is retarded. She does things that she knows makes us laugh. and then she sits with her mouth open and enjoys the results of us giggling our fool a**es off. We call her Belle, Half Wit Bell!

But that fast panting they do when excited ... you know "heh heh heh heh" is kind of the equivalent of a doggie laugh. The excited snorting and sneezing too.

But in a human way - no they don't giggle. Though you might call a wagging tail a doggie giggle!

This question made me laugh. I always wonder the same thing.

But I can honestly say my one dog (I have 2 dachshunds) when I rub him right below his ear he gets the BIGGEST grin on his face. It is the cutest thing in the world.

I would love to know if dogs giggle, or if they laugh. It would be so rad if they did.

He got a sound of "kek kek kek kek..." when happy with wagging tail, stamping feet. And also I can hear this sound when I rub his belly :)

I have never gotten that feeling from any of my dogs, but it would be cute if they could! I like to think they smile at least.
