Pick three of these running backs to start in week 4?
Stephen Jackson versus @ SF
Clinton Portis vs Tampa Bay
Ryan Grant @ Minnesota
Cedric Benson @ Cleveland
Glenn Coffee vs St. Louis
Grant and Jackson both have tough matchups. Coffee has a good matchup and will get a heavy workload, but is unproven. Benson has done well against tough defenses and now faces cleveland, but he is nursing an injury. Portis has been a huge disappointment so far. I'm leaning toward Jackson, Benson and Coffee.
I should have mentioned that it is a PPR league.

Coffee for sure since Rams cant stop anybody and SF loves to run
Benson if he plays, he is questionable now, but if he plays, its hard not to start him the way hes been running, if hes out id play Jackson
Grant, usually seems to get it done in minnesota, and hes looked better and better each game so far this year

Coffee and Benson are no-brainers, but I'd still take Portis over Jackson. The main reason he's been a disappointment isn't his legs - heck, in the first play of the season, he peeled off 35 yards against the Giants. The problem is Zorn's playcalling, which has been ripped all week after the Detroit fiasco. One of the problems is Portis had 12 carries in that game, which is simply ludicrous.
Considering that Zorn's future may be determined by this TB home game, and given the shambles of the TB defense I see this game as his breakout. Jackson has been almost as disappointing as Portis, but faces a stouter DEF where they always play better at home.

Clinton Portis (if healthy)
Cedric Benson
Glenn Coffee
If Portis is a last minute scratch, go with Steven Jackson in his place.
