My Boat engine will crank over but not start?
When I try to start my boat engine it will keep cranking until the batteries go dead. It seems as if I'm not getting any spark and yet when I pulled a plug it shows spark. I have replaced the points, plugs, coil, distributor cap, coil wire. The carb is getting plenty of gas. Any ideas? it is a 1987 Seaswirl, 4 cyl.

compression, spark and fuel.
If she gets all three she runs, if she don't she don't.
Compression test: all four should be about the same PSI with no more than 5 or 7% difference between worst and best.
Spark -- it'll probably run on 2 cylinders, but I doubt it runs on 1; check all four for spark.
Recheck your point gap, and your initial timing settings.
If you have good compression and spark all round, rebuild the carb.

If it's getting spark chances are it's not getting gas.Try dumping a small amount of gas in the carb, maybe an ounce or so. Just because gas is getting to the carb doesn't necessarily mean it's going into the cylinders. The float could be stuck shut. You could also pull a plug and see if it's wet with gas.
