Cell phone was dropped in the tub?
My husband's phone was dropped in the tub. I was told you could take the sim card out of the bad phone and put it in the new phone and it will work. Is this true?"

Okay, take the battery and SIM Card out of the phone, you can set it under a high powered light for about two - five hours; just check it about every thirty minutes so you don't have a damaged screen. Or put it in a bag of rice; then there is option three - let it set somewhere for a day or two and it should be fixed.
Good luck,
Logan. :-)

Ive heard that you immediatley take apart the pieces of the phone so the water dries out, leave it for 2 days, then put it back together.Maybe you should call your cell phone company for more help.

yes take apart the battery first of all and then all of the other parts...it should still work, but if you want another phone then yes if you take the sim card it will work on the other one.
