Need help with Skype.?
My daughter set up my computer for Skype b4 leaving the country. It worked fine on her laptop but mic does not work for me. I can see & hear her, she can see but not hear me. I already tried "options" to change mics but there is only one mic. It has been suggested that I get a sound card. What is it? What would u recommend? All ports are presently in use. Will I need to get more "ports"?

oh... that sucks. A sound card is a piece of hardware, a part of the computer. If your sound card doesn't work, you will want to take it to a computer store and get a new one. It's not hard. It's like a card, and you unscrew your computer and put it in while welding some wires to it, but it can cause even more problems if you don't do it right. Otherwise, there might be a problem with software.
