This guy call me 'melady'?

one day, I was texting with him.

and he said 'hello melady.'

but melady is not my name and i've never seen people calling a girl 'melody'.

what is this?

    he probably misspelled 'milady' which is the shortened form of 'my lady' so he most likely meant 'Hello, my lady'

    Dear, melady is an old British term for "my lady".

    These days, it's just a harmless way to say "hey b*tch".

    Its an old english form of address with " my lady " for a woman or "my lord" for a man

    Its just been shortened down to one word "melady"
