Email-vey: When someone never responds?

Very few people "hate" God. You realize that, right? There are people who hate the many dreadful side effects of organized religion, and some of them carry that over to hating religion period or even religious people. We call these people teenagers. Who like attention. Anyway. These people (get ready for it) don't believe in god, at least not as you understand god, and oftentimes not at all. I understand it's tricky with a belief system like yours, where you've been told that it's all or nothing, that if Noah's boat wasn't a hundred cubits long Jesus doesn't love you, that everything you've been informed you believe is completely self-evident. But be charitable and try to step back. The people who disagree with you don't "hate" god. No one puts effort into hating something they don't believe in. Do you hate the tooth fairy? No, didn't think so. You just understand that there isn't a tooth fairy, that there's no evidence for a lady in a pink dress taking away bloody molars, and there's lots of evidence against, in the form of the parents sneaking in to plant quarters under the kid's pillow. This is where your average atheist stands on the subject.

Well, Doll, you have to teach people how to treat you, and if after a certain number (that YOU need to determine) you should stop. You will either look desperate, or the person on the other end will say, "Yeah, that Bonita is so into me, that I can get her any time I want to...she emails me all the time...no work involved in getting her to snap to attention!"

And, you do NOT want people to think you are so available. Screw 'em if they would treat you that way. You want people in your life who care about you and are as good to you just as you are to them. Do unto others, Babe, do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The golden rule works in most areas of our lives, if we would just apply it!

Don't give up, they might be having computer problems and not even know you're trying to email them

First the inbox full of e-mails everyday, now this question! Why don't you just take a hint and stop? I'm not taking your Mom out for another date!

I give up. It's pointless and a complete waste of my time trying to talk to someone who doesn't want to take the time to at least answer one e-mail.

Oh....and don't fall for that...."I never got it". That's a crock of sh*t. E-mail me. I will talk to ya.
