Ford Ranger. Coolant leak?

Hoses connect to 2 valves(?) on top of engine. Small holes in one of the metal valves. What's the name of these parts? Difficult repair? Considering it's attached to the engine. Any help.

Your water pump. A real ***** to repair yourself. I did mine, never again.

You have to post a picture.

It sounds like you could be talking about the thermostat housing or the heater valves, but we have to see.
