Can you breed a medium size pony with an average size horse?
I have 2 mid sized mare ponies and also a yearling quarter horse stud. Do I have to worry about them breeding?

Yes, if he is totally studded, then he will go after the mares as long as he doesn't tower over them, and most quarter horses aren't that large, it could become an issue. The more time they spend together, the more he is likely to go after them. If possible, get them away from each other tommorow, or they could be pregnant as soon as they heat.
