How do you Burn a movie off of limewire onto a DVD, I have Linux running system.?
Just got this computer and it has a DVD Burner on it, but I have no idea how to use it, don't know a whole lot about computers. I downloaded some movies off of limewire, went and got some blank DVD's, been trying everything, all day long to get a movie onto a DVD. My computer is running Linux, can anyone help me, walk me through this step by step, since I don't know much about computers?
OK, Ben, I did exactly what you said to do, I do have the Ubuntu, I got farther along than I did before, but this time it says, Please replace the disk with a supported CD or DVD. It also said it is not possible to write with the current set of plugins. What do I do now? thanks so much for your help!

What distribution and version of Linux are you running? Linux is different than Windows or Mac OS- there are several hundred Linux-based operating systems and all of them work slightly differently.
On Ubuntu 9.04 (and probably most other systems that use the GNOME desktop system), go to Applications -> Sound and Video -> Brasero Disk Burner. Open it up and choose to make a new Video project. Add your files to it and click burn.

the one on your computer is not a video burner, it only lets you copy files as data onto a dvd and cd, you need to install a movie dvd video burning program like nero or ConvertXtoDVD ect ect
