What is this weird vine.?

I've seen this in different parts of central florida. Its an invasive vine that blooms tiny yellow flowers and then they drop and produce a spiny looking orange bulb like thing. It looks like something out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Then that bulb blooms and inside there are little wet red things that look like tic tacs and they eventually fall, I think they are the seeds. Anyway it's bizarre and I wanted to know what it was. Any ideas?

Update:

Come on help out.

Update 2:

Ah, not bittersweet. Kinda close but the leaves are fanned, not broad.

Update 3:

Nevermind, I found it. It's a momordica balsalm apple. Apparently you can chew the seeds but swallowing them will make you vomit. Some people boil the fruit and leaves in Africa for food, and it is used in various regions for medicinal purposes though there are no real studies on the benefits.
