Guitar Strings: Ernie Ball Regular Slinky vs. Power Slinky vs. Hybrid Slinky?
I have narrowed my choices down to three Ernie Ball strings. Which do you guys recommend? I play Heavy Metal (Iron Maiden, Saxon, Judas Priest, Metallica), with the occasional Hard Rock song, and sometimes play in a clean tone, but not often. Thanks!

depends on your playing style and your tuning. if you look at the size of the strings in each pack they are different. for E standard tuning the slinkys. if your tuning a half step down use the power slinkys if you like the light gauge strings and break the low strings use the hybrid slinkys. i up guitars differently for different tunings.

Great electric strings. Maybe not the best of the best but I use them on two of my electric guitars. Love 'em. Jimmy page reportedly used them and he could-a used anything. edit: to the poster above me: I love earthwounds. I used them on my old 12-string acoustic.
