Besides getting it done at the doctor, all you can really do is reduce the appearance of them. There is a scar cream called Mederma that you can use. It works really good on scars, and I'm sure it'll help those stretch marks too. Just be patient and let it work. Also along with that you can use Palmers CoCoa butter lotion especially for stretch marks before or after birth. But if its for stretch marks, it does'nt matter if it's for male or female. Try using both products alternating days and you will see a dramatic difference. Hope everything works out well : )

Jeremy - first of all how old are you? Rapid growth could cause stretch marks, but I've never seen it first hand. My brother is 6'6" by age 14 and he didn't have any stretch marks and he was not ribbed either!

Some say cocoa butter is good; but I only heard that is for women that are pregnant.

I've seen stretch marks on my granddaughters breasts. Now, she was 9 when she became a "young lady." At the age of 10 she was wearing a size C up and by age 13 a D cup. So her rapid growth attributed to the stretch marks.

You could ask your doctor or pharmacist (free) if they could recommend something and even possibly answer your question. Everyone's body is different.

It's a known fact that when you are heavy, lose weight, gain weight and then lose weight again you will develop stretch marks. Those marks I would be proud of because that means you succeeded in losing the weight and maintaining it :)

When I was 12, I was 5'10 1/2" tall (a girl) and I never had stretch marks on my body. When I was pregnant, I developed them, but they went away on their own - lucky I guess.

Don't be so worried about them. At least you have a good, strong, healthy body. Look around at those people who are disabled through illness, accidents or extremely overweight people. Then you will give thanks that the only problem you have are a few stretch marks!

I wish you the best. Good luck and don't let vanity get in the way of your life!

stretch marks won't fade by themselves as some people tell you..

I suggest you use a stretch mark cream to fight them:) I used Revitol and am very happy with it. You can learn more about it here: http://www.revitol-reviews.com/a/revitol-stretch-m...

hope that helps and good luck!:)

I hear cocoa butter works.....didn't work for me though. You could also try Bio oil. It's available in walgreen or safeway stores.

this is what i did. i went to CVS and asked the lady at the back counter where they give you medicine. she told me some brand that works best i forgot which one, but she said cocoa butter was second best so thats what i bought because it was much cheaper.

Source(s): they will fade but not soon, and you might get more theyll always be there but you can make them less with cocoa butter

if they are new, you can exfoliate them regularly with a scrub and apply moisturizer after. they will fade faster that way.

hmm, well i know if like, you were chubby and lost weight, and had them, they shrink and turn whiteish to the point where you can't see them.

but if you're just skinny, then it might just be because you grew fast or something, i'm sure theyll go away! :D
