What do you think of this romance novel plot?

Yeah! Great plot! Maybe you could also add

in something like Angel Laws: Where he's not suppose to break them, but needs to.

Or something like that...

What are the consequences of him falling in love with her? Does she have to die in order to be with him? Can she see him? What is the conflict?

Falling in love isn't really a great core story unless there's some kind of big conflict that comes with them falling in love. Maybe she's in love with another man? Maybe she believes the angel to be evil, and the angel has to work hard to prove himself?

Maybe the angel isn't allowed to fall in love with her, and will lose his job as her protector if any other angels find out about their love?

Throw something like one of those in there, and then add a twist, like, the ancient evil tricks her into thinking that a shape-shifter is the angel, and to follow it into danger, and the real angel has to save her?

Hope those ideas help! I'm doing NaNoWriMo too! Planning is rough, but I'm excited to get the foundation down so the words can flow when November comes!

It does sound good but like the other person said to predictable. It seems like it kind of has been done before and everyone knows what will happen which is a bit boring. But that's just my opinion. I like a little bit of tragedy in some of my romances if it's to predictable but that probably wouldn't work for you. But I would read it. As long as the title caught my eye I would pick up and probably wouldn't be able to put it down.

Sounds good to me, but a little predictable. The whole angel and evil think is brilliant, very unusual. But he falls in love with her but can't be with her...just a bit expected. But are all romance novels predictable?!

In all honesty I think it sounds good... I would read.

Oh, suggestion - maybe have the woman fall in love with him, but he doesn't really love her, or realizes he does until he goes back to where ever he came from. or have something happen to her and he gives up everything...IDK, maybe just add a little twist! :)

It kinda of sound like the movie city of angels with nicholas cage and meg ryan.supernatural meets love. what better story then good vs evil and the just how far love can reach. good plot. get detailed in the battles.

yep i like it. i think it would be very interesting if the angel returns to heaven, after the big fight with the evil, and leaves the girl pregnant! then he can be her guardian angel and you can continue another story starring the angel's mortal child xD

make the fellow cheat at the lady then years later they're going to meet on the cafe and te man will say that his Life used to be terrible with out her and she's going to say the detailed factor then while they're 70 they're going to reside in combination once more
