dont you hate how people get caught up in celebrities?

I was once told that celebrities here are comparable to royalty in, say Britain. Cameras follow around the queen and price, etc. as someone to focus on and it is the same here; we follow celebrities and the president because we don't have anyone better to follow around or use as a model for "how we should live." People "love" celebrities because we seem to need people to "look up to" and/or criticize, though I agree with you - I really don't care at all what kind of car they drive, what food they eat, if they get married, adopt children or even do a good deed, like donate money or visit foreign countries. The only way I ever care about them is if say they are a good actor and in a movie I would probably like because that is their job. So I don't hate celebrities just their undeserved royalty statues here.

America is in DIRE need of a REAL news broadcast system. I hate how we hear about celebrities, fad diets and yet another death on the news; what about the real important things going on in life? We really need help as a society is this aspect.

Well, I don't hate them. But liking a celebrity is the same as liking any other person. Celebrities aren't a different species. Their the same as all of us, and it's not bad to like them.

It's bad when you care about every living moment of their live and try to get the details on everything they do.

truthfully. i like female Gaga. She's unlikely to be the reason for a guy or woman to devote mass homicide, like some human beings think of. each so often I merely get so ill of entertainment shows approximately celebrities.

Some things celebrities do is cool and neat to read on but yeah some things are so over-rated.

but i dont think theyre special either.

I like certain celebs.
