I have! It was central Texas and it was very dry and hot, and the people were very friendly. Excellent fast food! I was visiting family for a few days.

specific, I stay there. that's surely no longer what human beings think of that's. that's not a barren area with a collection of cowboys. I stay interior the city so i won't be in a position to assert the comparable for the rustic, i've got surely in no way been there. The Texan stereotype: Cowboy hats and boots, thick "hick" accents, all of us very own vehicles that are older than a decade and a minimum of one horse (because of the fact, we are cowboys after all, superb?), racists and/or we pay attention to no longer something yet u . s . music. right here is what I, a Texan, am surely like: My cloth wardrobe includes usually shoes, denims (no, no longer Wranglers), white t-shirts and superb now, a jacket, because of the fact that's chilly. i'm a million/2 Mexican so certainly, that's what my accessory is. I very own a 2008 Honda Accord yet no horses nor do I plan on getting one. because of the fact I stay in an apartment, no longer on a farm. i'm an open-minded man or woman, like I reported, no longer a racist in any respect. and that i'll hear an AC/DC album till now I ever pay attention to a Tim McGraw album. i'm satisfied residing in Texas, it has lots of issues to do this don't encompass driving horses or looking. we've a extensive action picture teach reported as the Marq*E, i am going there plenty. they have go-kart places, laser tag, and so on. I stay in Houston, and that's purely a common city. yet back, like I reported, that's not something like human beings think of that's.

Too many times to count...though I live on the east coast...Texas is amazing because it has so many different types of communities & land...hill country, beach, flat ranch and farm land...and wide, open spaces everywhere! Not to mention the blend of cultures, the amazing food, opportunities....the music scene in Austin...Texas has it going on! (Hey, that sounds like a great tourism slogan!)

And lots of good-looking cowboys...and some wanna-be's, too!
