Forgive Letterman or not forgive?
Ultimately, I know it's not your place or my place to decide whether his wife forgives him, now that his cheating has come out. But putting yourself in her place, forgive or not forgive?
I thumbs-down no answer here, by the way, except for those who do not even take the time to read the whole short question before they post.

That certainly is a difficult decision for his wife to make, because it is highly personal. On the other hand, if I was his wife Regina, I would have to take into consideration that we have been together since 1986, have one son who is now 6 years old, were married last year to legitimize the child, and all this time Dave was a serial seducer. The chances are because he is a powerful figure in the entertainment business, and he has loads of money, that the temptation to cheat again is always a possibility. For the child's sake, I would forgive him but I would never ever forget nor would I ever feel secure in our relationship. We all sacrifice for our children, staying with Dave would be my sacrifice.

Your take on this is horribly skewed and you are just repeating a lie. Your statement, "Basically Dave Letterman advocated the statutory rape of a 14 year old" is indisputably false. Never said anything close to what you and a few other trolls have posited. He used the phrase "knocked up" which everyone who got the joke realized was a satiric slam to Sarah Palin on her stance of "family values" and abstinence while her 18 year-old daughter was pregnant and unmarried. Any comparison between Imus and Letterman is fatuous and over-reaching at best. Listen to the tape again. It's in the public record. There's not even any room for interpretation. And just in case you were also wondering, Earth is round, not flat. There are pictures from NASA that kinda prove it.

Frankly I don't give a good dam what the man does..If he were not rich we would never even know his business..And if he did cheat that woman knew all along he is married..Makes them both guilty..I believe the ***** had it planned from the start..And him..He should know better any way knowing dam well one of those woman was not about to keep there mouth shut,,So hes at fault and his wife should leave him..You know its bad enough in any marrage when some thing like this happens I could not even think of how I would feel if it happen to me..Hurt that my friends and family would have to know..But when the whole dam Country knows it would be even worse!!...This kind of crap is all about money..Shame on them all!!

What he does is none of our business anyway. But to answer your question. Forgiveness is always the best way to go. Forgive and move on with your life.
