What makes "Some Christians" stay in a religion that has falsely prophesied?

Why remain Loyal to a teaching that has prophesied and Not come true?

Y'all know who you are.

Update:

Alright, LOL... Like the date of the Second Coming...

Update 2:

@Geotom...Your shedding a lot of light on the subject. I suppose you would be losing family and friends. A huge sacrafice.

Update 3:

But, I believe we have everlasting life in Christ and the Saints are in Heaven. All that is biblical.

Update 4:

@International Dave, they aren't the only ones...but certainly high on the list.

Actually the JW's and Seventh day Adventist are out growths of a false Prophesy.I do not believe the Adventist have tried giving a certain date since the Millerite movement but the JW's have done so at least three different times i'm a ware of. There has of course been others but they were usually small insignificant sects. As for those who like to say i was born Catholic but i read the Bible and now i'm saved or what ever.SO what every body's allowed to be stupid.

Source(s): Why do they stay i would guess because they have been indoctrinated into not trusting any one but them.

I think she is referring to the Jehovah's Witnesses cult. The Watch Tower Society has made various predictions about the coming of Armageddon, raising expectations of its imminence in the years leading up to 1914, 1925, and 1975. As a result, the organisation has been accused of making false predictions.

They are blinded. There's always some twist to their claims that keeps them hooked. For anyone who wants the truth , the truth is made known.
