I asked this yesterday and didn't get any answers! Help ladies! The pharmacy messed up my BC Rx!!?

My Pharmacy was supposed to give me Ortho tricyclin low but instead gave me ortho tricyclen, I didn't notice untill about 2 days ago when i had some break threw bleeding and i am supposed to start my period in 3 more days. the spotting only lasted a hour or so, I am in a committed relationship and we do not use any other protection should I be worried that this effected the protection since i did change BC? and also will I have to get my dr to write me another prescription just b/c the pharmacy messed up my order? I'm very confused! Thanks for the help!

The first thing I would do is call your Dr. Ask the nurse/Dr whether or not you need to be concerned about pregnancy. Then take what is left of the pills and go to the Pharmacy. Tell them that they screwed up and ask them how they plan on fixing it (they should refund your money (or pay for the next refill) and refill the correct script).

As far as pregnancy goes, you should be fine. The pills work in the same way, which is that they give you hormones to simulate pregnancy to stop you from ovulating. You can switch from one type to another and not risk pregnancy.

If I were you, I'd call up (or go to) the pharmacy directly. If it's a chain like CVS or Rite Aid or something, they scan you presciptions and keep electronic copies. Tell them that they made a mistake and you want it corrected. You shouldn't have to go back you your doctor for a new prescription.

Yahoo is a huge-cooled super-computing gadget and randomly deletes questions as element of its middle applications. different middle applications contain sending congratulations emails besides as making specific you're as much as this element with each and all of the maximum recent techniques yahoo delivers. Minor applications inclusive of organising the validity of violations are finished on a decade-by using-decade foundation. Randomly, of direction.
