Ramadan: If Allah gave u a choice between?
If Allah gave u a choice between : staying in this world without facing any calamity or to die and take the risk of being judged for all ur sins and the possibilty to live in heaven and Meet Allah,
what would u chose? a happy life with no sadness or a Risky judgment day but with the possibility of meeting Allah?
i would take the second option bcz i know Allah will have mercy on me and even if judgment day will be scare me , i cant but wish to meet Allah.
:)

@ Hamzah: amin to ur du'aa
and ma sha'aa LLAH i learned from Mimi and Justmeish....
thanks to all :) assalamo alaykom
@ Race:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said:
If My servant likes to meet Me, I like to meet him; and if he dislikes to meet Me, I dislike to meet him. Prophetic explanation of this Sacred Hadith: He who likes to meet Allah, Allah likes to meet him; and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Prophet of Allah, is it because of the dislike of death, for all of us dislike death? The Prophet (pbuh) said: It is not so, but rather it is that when the believer is given news of Allah's mercy, His approval and His Paradise, he likes to meet Allah and Allah likes to meet him; but when the unbeliever is given news of Allah's punishment and His displeasure, he dislikes to meet Allah and Allah dislikes to meet him.
It was related by al-Bukhari and Malik. The Prophetic version is related by Muslim.
@ Bijoux: wa alaykom assalam sis wa rahmato LLAH wa barakatoh :)
send my salam to ur family too :)

Hajj has to be something YOU want to do. Not what someone else tell you to. If right now, you find college is more important you should just stick to college. Hajj is a huge ritual, as in all rituals you must submit your mind and soul sincerely to Allah. Your Hajj will not be perfect if you do it while your mind is still fussing on the exam you missed, etc. Ask yourself this question. Do YOU really wish to go on Hajj or focus on college while praying that God gives you another opportunity when the time is right. :)

The Ultimate reward for any human being, or any other creature is seeing Allah (SWT's) face, no reward can surpass that not even being in Heaven. Noone is more mercifully than Allah (SWT) so if one sets his goal as to be one of the Lucky ones who get to see Allah (SWT) face and work for it by: Believing in Allah (SWT) and not worshiping other than him, Making your Salaat ON TIME, paying your Zakaat IN FULL, Fasting RAMADAN, and if you can afford it Making the HAJJ, avoiding the SEVEN MAJOR SINs and as Much as Possible the minor sins, and not Harm any human being not even with words. Insha'Allah THAT PERSON will be on of the LUCKY ONES.
NOTHING ON THIS WORLD is worth even a breeze FROM HEAVEN. I don't know anyone who know the least be about heaven who would choose this world even if they own 1000000000G X 1000000000G times what is in it. That is the difference between weak Eman and Strong Eman.

I don't think I could ever be prepared to be judged, but I would choose the second also.
A world without calamity is a world in which people do not learn. The worst things I have experienced, I have learned from, and I do think in one way or another have brought me closer to Allah. If I have learned all that I can from the bad, I am ready to move on.

Asalamu'alaykum sister
Very good question lol
option 2
To him we belong to him we return! subhan’Allah… being tested is way cooler. Allah(swt) testing me is great as the Thawab would be very well paid in the after life. What we will receive in the hereafter would be so worth it. Working hard to get something is way better than just sitting and get everything out of doing nothing.Suffering will make me stronger because at the end of this life i will be rewarded not only with heaven, its beauties and all the wonders that come along but the with the fact that a Will be able to finally meet my lord the one and only Allah(swt) who created me, who fed me everyday, who forgave me, who listened to my prayers and grant my du'ah, who know me above all. Allah (swt) is All forgiving he forgives if any one repent how loving is this God, follow the path and you will be guided Allah has promised us Heaven….How can i deny?? with us Muslim following the true path Allah Will protect us incha'Allah to keep doing good to reach Jannat incha'Allah ameeeeeeen
follow he pillar of Islam and this will protect us from doing bad incha'Allah ameen
Ps Asalamu'alaykum to your family...

It is something like the constantly repeat ayahs in Ar-Rahman (surah 55). Be like jinn...No hellfire but no paradise either, or be mankind and face the chance that you will go to hellfire for an eternity, but also the chance of going to paradise. Do you know that 1 out of every 1,000 of us will go to the hellfire? I also agree with you with choosing the second option.
May Allah guide us and keep us all on the straight path..Ameen.
