RHH&NRHH: Do you like Bob Dylan?

Personally he is my favorite vocalist of all time, and my 2nd favorite NRHH act not far behind The Doors..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8itFRCpkLg

Q1: Rate Bob Dylan as an arist.

Q2: What Hip Hop artist/group would you like to see him work with?

Q3: Can you name anyone with a bigger album catalog than him?

Studio albums 33

Live albums 13

Compilation albums 14

I'll answer my own questions..

Q1: 10/10. One of the GOAT's..

Q2: Black Thought/The Roots.

Q3: I can't off the top of my head, but maybe if I looked into it.

Update:

I really hate when people totally avoid the question. Thanks Beast

Update 2:

Thanks Beast for actually answering everything...lol

Update 3:

@Big O...Nope..

Elvis...

Studio albums 23

Live albums 7

Compilation albums 11

Update 4:

Q1: There isn't a score high enough for me to rate Dylan. There's no other artist I would rate even close to him. He's just plain fantastic!

Q2: I wish I could answer this but I just don't know much about Hip Hop. If I remember correctly, Dylan expressed a bit of admiration for LL Cool J, so maybe that would be good.

    Q3: Beatles

    Studio albums 29

    Compilation albums 41

    Live albums 2

    Plus:

    Singles 56

    Extended plays 20

One of my favorite YouTube vids of Dylan

Yeah. My dad is a huge fan so I've been listening to him since I was little.

Q1: 10/10. One of if not the greatest, lyricists of all time.

Q2: The Roots sounds dope. Maybe J-Live or Mos Def too. Would have to be an established emcee capable of sophisticated metaphors. Black Thought and Dylan with Roots accompaniment would be disgusting, unfortunately, I don't think that will ever happen...

Q3: Quite possibly a Jazz musician. Miles Davis has 72 albums according to wikipedia.

Source(s): Edit: Opps, didn't see Morbid's answer, but I'm sure there are more Jazz artists that have a similar size catalogue.

Q3: Can you name anyone with a bigger album catalog than him?

not off the top of my head.

    Q1: 10/10

    Q2: Madlib

Q3: Maybe BB King & Frank Sinatra, but Bob Dylan probably has more live albums

He's one of my favorite vocalist of all time, not total favorite. He is really impressive though to me.

Q1: 9.5/10, I would give him a 10/10, but nobody's really perfect. I would put him on my GOAT list for all musicians.

Q2: The Roots, Restoring Poetry In Music, and Aesop Rock (the song they do would be insane).

Q3: Not really, I might know one or two but I can't name them off the top of my head right now.

    Edit: Q3: Miles Davis:

I'm a huge Bob Dylan fan. He's my favourite NRHH act, and probably my second favourite artist behind Nas. I find there's a lot of similarities between the way both of them write.

    Q1: 10/10

    Q2: Common

    Q3: BB King

Q1 My Old Man Listens To Him, I've Heard Some Songs Of His, I'll Give Him a dissapointing< sarcastic> 8/10

Q2 Jay Z (since he worked with coldplay, it would be dope to see him work with Bobby)

    Q3 Ghostface Killah?

While that particular song pisses me off (Desire is one of my least favorite Dylan albums), he's a brilliant artist.

    1: 10/10, easy.

2: Modern Dylan with RZA would be really cool.

    3. Sure. Wolf Eyes, Zappa, Van Morrison (maybe)
