How come the state drags wrongfully convicted victims? Do they not want to pay?!?

My older brother is STILL going to court for being wrongfully convicted. He did 20 yrs for a murder he didn't commit. I don't want this to keep going on for months and months. Why does the state drag these cases? It's not fair to the victims......

If your brother is innocent, then he needs to prove it.Saying that he is innocent isn't enough. Most of the inmates in jail claim to be innocent and a few of them were probably wrongfully convicted. The state has apparently put up enough evidence to find him guilty in court.

Well, it depends on who the victim is. You say your brother is not guilty. It may be. Mistakes can and do happen. However, he was convicted once, and will be considered to be guilty while his case is reviewed.

So, the legal victim is the person your brother was convicted of murdering and their family. To be fair to those people, the matter needs to be reviewed very carefully.

I hope justice is done, whatever that turns out to be.
