Yes it is, but it was found around Saturn. It's a very massive and distant ring made up of very, very faint ice and dust particles. It's not nearly as dense as the rings that are closer to the planet, so it's nearly invisible.
They only found it when they used the Spitzer telescope to image the planet. The telescope was able to detect the heat signature of the ring. But even though I say heat signature, it is a very cold thing, I think, a couple hundred degrees below zero.

I think it was around Saturn. I just saw the headline and didn't read the article. Check science news on yahoo or just google <new saturn ring>
