Does it sound like she's jealous?

Question

Okay so I have this friend, and sometimes she'd be super nice, saying things like "oh you look really pretty today". And other days, she'd say some pretty harsh things like, "change your face book picture, its so dorky. change it. seriously, change it.", and "wow that looks horrible. it really does. take it off."
So is she just brutally honest, and being a good friend, or could there be another reason? 
I'm pretty good friends with her, and I don't want to just drop her, but sometimes things she says and does makes me doubt the stability of our friendship. =&#92;

sounds to me like she's jealous of you and your picts. if she doesn't like she doesn't have to look and she sure as heck doesn't have to comment on it.

Some people have a weird sense of humor and maybe she thinks its funny when she says those things, but i think you should let her know how it makes you feel and if shes cant respect you then your going to have to find new friends to hang with, that treat you like you treat them. Good luck

maybe im jumping the gun but it seems like she likes you. im not gonna cal her a lesbian though but to me it has all the signs but ay thats what i think. or if you want you can say she's jealous but it doesnt seem that way to me.

ohh that happened to me once. i just stuck with my friend, to see what would happen. and it worked out okay! i think you should stick with your friend, but if they start to be brutal in a non-sarcastic way, then i think you guys should talk.
