Canon AE-1 program rewind button?

I have a Canon AE-1 Program from either the late 60s or early 70s. I pressed the rewind button in and unloaded my last roll of film, but now the rewind button will not come back out. this is keeping me from being able to snap more photos. How do I get the rewind button to come back out?

Actually your camera was manufactured from 1976 to 1984. It probably needs to be serviced due to its age and lack of use. I suggest Garry's Camera Repair. http://www.garryscamera.com/ or garryscamera@yahoo.com He charges $45.00 + $8.00 shipping and will return your AE-1 in like-new condition. He has a 7 day turnaround.

It should come back out on its own when you load another roll. It must be stuck in there. It probably needs a good clean, lube and adjust. That shouldn't cost much.
