Did anyone else hear the movie Armageddon was based on something true hidden from the public?
I heard from a good source that they really did explode an asteroid in space to prevent Armageddon and that the movie was to honor the people involved who kept it secret to spare us the horror of knowing the truth? It sounds crazy to me. Has anyone else heard this?

it would of been public
so yeah no way to hide it.
