ford 302 and ford 2.3 liter?

I heard of using a chevy 350 rods for the 2.3 liter can you use chevy rods for a ford 302?? Maybe ford 351 rods fit the 302 engine? I'm rebuilding a 302 ford and want to make it a long rod for torque.

You're confused......the length of the rod has nothing to do with the stroke of the engine - it only has to provide the proper deck height for a particular piston.

The long stroke is what you're looking for if you want more torque and that's strictly a characteristic of the crank shaft.
