presidents cup question?

in alternate shot what ball do they hit, for example: Tiger is playing with Steve Stricker. Tiger hits his drive does steve stricker mark the ball and put his pro v1 there or does he hit Tiger's ball or do they have one universal ball for all of the players

    They tee off with their own ball and then play that ball for the entire hole. If you watched closely yesterday, you saw lots of circumstances where one player gave his partner the ball back after completing a hole.

    What Lg said is true and some captains try to make teams based on ball type, or it has at least been considered in past events.

    They play one ball from tee to green. Ball may change on next tee.

    They use the same ball throughout the hole.
