Is this normal for a 15 year old?
I'm 15. It was maybe 2 days ago when my breast started hurting.Just so you don't start thinking something-- I AM NOT PREGNANT! I've heard that it could be either your period about to start, or either you are already on your period, or they are growing. But i have noticed that one of them is a little swollen and it hurts more than the other. Just to be safe, I tried looking for a lump or a knot or something abnormal. I did feel a little knot right where it hurts. I know that it is very rare for teens my age to get cancer. But it still worriers me that i may be of one of the rare cases. And i really don't want to go to the Dr.!!! Please Help!
P.S.~ Is it true that your breast could hurt because of they are growing?

when i was goin thru puberty my breasts hurt too, but they didnt have a knot. you might wanna tell ur mom or something :/

yeah they're probably growing. it's normal for one to hurt more than the other because often one will grow faster than the other, but they'll even out later on. because there's a knot where it hurts, though, i think there's a possibility that it could be something - not necessarily breast cancer, but an abnormality of some sort which you should really get checked out sooner rather than later. go to the doctor. if there's nothing wrong you haven't lost anything and if there is you'll probably be thankful you found it now

Its just your perdiod is about to start
somtimes your breasts really really hurt...it happens in deffenrt people
i get really bad peridod pain too
it feels like somone is stabbing my insides

Hi, yes they can, but you need to talk to your mother, or a older female school nurse maybe , aunt or etc. you feel better . good luck
