is it healthy to think like this?

Believing in god is something you can't see, it gives you faith for the future and you seem to have lost your way, god doesn't make people who they are, he gave us the option of free will, and thats why people choose to do what they do, there are more decent people in the world than bad, at your age I was lost too and almost comitted suicide because I felt like that I was worthless, but as I got older, I met some really beautiful souls and they helped me through some of my tough times, please don't hurt yourself, I have done that too in desparation for someone to take notice, but nobody did, you have to have a better self esteem and just know that your family and friends are there for you, and you can go to them for anything, they will understand, they maybe upset that you felt that way but its not always easy talking to people who know you, try talking to a counseller they usually have one at school or in womens health centres, unfortunately our parents and their parents didn't know anything about carbon emissions and greenhouse gasses or the ozone layer for that matter, they just created new things and thought it was a great idea at the time, but now we know we can all do something to save this planet, maybe you could get involved in a community grroup in your area that plants trees and cleans up others rubbish, you will feel more positive and you won't feel so alone, please talk to someone, I wished they were more aware when I was your age, I just struggled through each day, and whilst my life is not great, I have beautiful nieces who I adore and love getting their hugs, and friends who help me and make my life bearable, its up to you, you have to fight for yourself to get a better life and attitude towards life and also remember their are a lot of people who feel like you so you are not alone, take care and you can email me if you need to talk, remember this quote because it will help you - "if its going to be, its up to me" - I have used that often when I'm feeling low, take care sweetie, things will change, hopefully for the better for you, goodluck :)

DO NOT get sucked into "there is a god" crap...you are still only young and you have your whole life ahead of you...you will see, once you are allowed to go out into the big bad world its not as bad as your innocent eyes tell you it is. the reason we have murderers and the like is to remind us that is only a small portion of the people on the earth that are like that. The majority of people on this planet are caring and loving. I live by the rule * everything happens for a reason * if you live by that then you will see eventually that the world isn't really that bad. And stop hurting yourself...when you realise that, in a few years, your life isn't so bad...your going to have scars and then have to explain to everyone what they are...the worst will be the one (BF) you love......

God will determine life or death but will not change the way people act or what happens. So just because you might ask him to do something that doesn't have to do with anything like death, then nothing will happen. I bet lots of people care for you. Maybe you just don't know it yet. Pedophiles and murderers are there because THEY chose to do that - not because god wanted it that way.

i am sad to hear you say those things, but you are not alone in your scepticism. maybe you should talk to someone about this- maybe your school counsellor.

i do believe in God, and it brings me peace and comfort about the terrible things in this world. you have to understand that God allowed us the chance to live in a perfect world - i'm sure you've heard the story of adam and eve in the garden of eden - and we messed it up, because we are not perfect the way He is. So it isn't God who created all the horrible things in this world, it was man. but God is completely accepting - he does not judge us for struggling, and he is delighted to forgive us for anything if we are sorry and ask him to. He can comfort us and give us hope so that we don't have to feel alone and hopeless. He loves us all very very much and he wants us to thrive and live happily, despite the circumstances.

i would suggest, if you have a Bible, that you read Ecclesiastes (in the old testament)- i think that if you are depressed you might relate to this. You must read it all the way through to really understand what Solomon was saying but it isn't very long at all, it'll take you about fifteen, twenty minutes to read the whole book. It isn't preachy at all - when i was struggling with my faith - unsure about my beliefs, and depressed, i was very wary of reading the Bible because I didn't feel like it was applicable to my life at all, but when i read Ecclesiastes i felt better. if you don't have a Bible you can read it online.

no and by the way the reason there is murderers an pedophiles and rapist and all that stuff is be cause god gave us free will and honestly can you say that you'd rather have no choice? we would be like robots. and if you dont trust anyone then your going to feel depressed because you don't have any real relationships. the reason you feel alone is because you don't trust anyone enough to have a meaningful relationship with them

I have a friend that thinks like that, and she's only 13. At one time she even denied being human because she thinks humans are just stupid, violent individuals.

So you're not the only one, but that doesn't mean it's healthy. Try talking to someone, it doesn't have to be a counselor, just someone you feel you could talk to.

Your thinking seems somewhat normal for your age. I believe we will eventually kill off ourselves and planet. The part about hurting yourself raises some serious questions. That part is not normal. Talk to someone you trust about that. Have a great day.

its not God who caused that to happen.

its the people who chose to be bad.

All the people in this world, have freedom to think anything they want. They have freedom to do anything. Just like you asking that question.

You have a free will. You can chose to believe in God or not. You can chose to a be murderer or not. So thats why this world is like this, because we can do anything we want. You can also be the person to change the world if you want. You can be anything, you want to be =). you have the power to change the way things are.

Im 12 too , last week was my birthday. I NEVER EVER feel alone cause i know someone up there is always there for me to help me! Trees and birds and everything are just talkin' about god! if you forget god , Terrible thing will happen for you in your life. we have same age but i have someone to talk to , tell him how i feel , what i dream , but you are alone. OMG!! everything are the thing that he made for me and you and u gotta belive this!!! ;) belive it!!!
