Do these people who want to "fix" the environment have any common sense?

Water is essential to our life but we don't want floods. Oxygen is essential too but you wouldn't want to live in an atmosphere of pure oxygen. We need a balance; things are not all black and white.

CO2 is essential for life yes. and "scientists" should not be having to resort to technical fixes to undo the results of our overconsumption and unsustainable lifestyles;

over the millenia life has evolved, and maintained, the earth's atmosphere in a narrow range that life can tollerate. One of the mechanisms was plants and marine animals locking up the excess CO2 in fossil fuel. WE are now releasing this back at an unprecedented rate which will de-stabilise most eco-systems on the planet.

Also the plants recycle the CO2 and give us back the O2. The plants keep the C which will break down to fossil fuel.

True CO2 is essential, but too much of anything isn't a good thing. Humans need water, but you can die if you drink too much.

They don't want to get rid of ALL the carbon, that would be stupid. Just bring in down to better levels for life in general. Scientists are not that stupid. They know the levels of oxygen and carbon. Where's your common sense?

They don't need to invent something that Submarines already do.
