Juan Pierre has earned it. He's been sitting in the sidelines way to long, and when Torre put him out there as a pinch hitter or runner, he's clutch. Stolen base, fast, productive, so he's not a power hitter, but he can bunt, hit in gaps, and get on base, which is so much better than all the Double plays and strike outs Manny has given the Dodgers. The 50 game suspension for Manny was an indication that Manny wasn't needed on the Team, THey had a good record at the Time. Who knows maybe if Torre would have left him out for good, they would have the best record instead of the Yankees.....

I love it when Juan Pierre plays, but if Torre didn't sit Ramirez down the stretch when Manny was in a horrible slump, he will not take him out of the lineup now. Plus, Torre mentioned the other day that all he can do is pencil down Ramirez's name and pat him on the back and hope he does well. Go Blue!!

Considering Manny Ramirez has 28 career homeruns in the postseason, which is the most of all-time, I think he will start. He has struggled in the division series all of his career. Maybe they can substitute Pierre for the division series but not for the entire playoffs.

Manny is widely considered the greatest postseason hitter of all time. I would be utterly shocked if they didn't start him.
