You can use the dvd copy software to copy the DVD to another blank DVD directly, insert the original DVD and the software will copy the DVD to the cache on your computer, then you can put a blank dvd disc in the dvd burner, the dvd copy software will copy the DVD to the new disc.

No there are no free programs you will have to buy more memory like a stick of 512 and you probably should upgrade your hard drive also like 80 GB,I have a old IBM also and thats what I had to do

If you don't have a dvd drive you can't read a dvd, period. If your drive can read dvds Imgburn is the best free program, you can get it at imgburn.com
