Having Tire troubles on a 92 Dodge Ram 350 Van?

Ok, here is the deal. I bought a 92 Dodge Ram 350 van. It is a 1 ton. It is extra long. I bought it to haul carpet in. The tires that came on it were 225/75/r16. They are 8 lug rims. These tires did not look right for the van considering we needed to haul heavy loads in the van. We ended up going with a little bigger tire, 245/75r16. We bought a set from a guy and the tires came off of a 95 Dodge Truck. The tires fit on just fine except when my husband drove it to the store, there was like this tick, tick, tick, tick and it only did it when the tires were moving. Did we mess up? Will these tires work on our van? Any ideas about the tick, tick, tick? Any help will be greatly appreciated! My new tires and rims look so good on my van. I want them to work. Any help?

Update:

The tires are load range E

look for something loose or a gravel in the tire, you didn't mess up because those tires should work alright, make sure that their not rubbing on anything ,one good way to find out is jack one wheel up at a time and rotate each tire to narrow it down some, make sure the rims arent rubbing against the rotors on it, good luck with it.

You should really check the load range rating on the sidewall of the tire itself. that van requires a load range of at least D maybe an E as too much weight will blow apart the tires forcing a cosly repair and possibly an accident, the door jamb will tell you also
