Where are the Red Sox "fans"?

where did they all disappear? They claimed to be fans before 2004, although they are no where to be seen when there team is down. However, when they win, these "fans" come here and bash the Yankees.

I know that there are "real" fans out there (who suffered through those 86 years), but all of these other post-2004 fans seem to immediatley give up on their team

Update:

Shining: You are the only real Red Sox fan here, I know that. But how about the other "fans"

I am right HERE. I am a Sox fan and proud of it. I have grown up a Sox fan and the night they won the 04 WS was the happiest night of my life. All the bandwagons can leave and thats fine. This would just leave the true fans, fine by me.

    Right here.

The way they lost is like a kick in the balls but they're still one of the best teams in baseball and will be back strong next year.

I don't begrudge the real Angel fans a bit of gloating given your team's history with the Sox but all the Yankee trolls need to go away and worry about your own team.

The Red Sox fans are a fine group. They support their team, don't hate or kick someone when they're down.

Beats me. But I'm sure you rushed to the internet to take abuse from Sox fans in 2004.

They disapear because they are bandwagoners, who picked the Red Sox because they have won two titles in the last 5 years. But I love the Red Sox, as a lot of my fellow Mets fans do. And my favorite Red Sock of all time is: Bill Buckner. I'm sure all Mets fans agree with me.
